"The SARE 1B, part of the SARE System of the National Space Program by CONAE is the first Segmented Architecture technological demonstration mission.
It consists of four satellites positioned in LEO orbit working cooperatively with SAOCOM 1B. The satellites –called Segments in the novel architecture- will test special capabilities such as wireless communication between them, functions distribution and coordinated pointing. STI has developed together with CONAE the complete foundational concepts and the preliminary designs. Currently the detailed design and implementation phase is been developed with the collaboration of STI among others contractors."
The implementation methodology based on constant prototyping and simulation has produced several software and hardware products that STI provide on the early phases of the project to explore the new possibilities and benefits of the new Segmented Architecture concept.

Por fin algo de estos satelites! al parecer los primeros cuatro serían diferentes entre sí. Habrá que esperar hasta que esté listo el Tronador II?
